The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) provides funding to public and private bodies in all EU regions to reduce economic, social and territorial disparities. For 2021-2027, it supports investments to make Europe and its regions more competitive and smarter (innovation, SMEs support, digitisation, digital connectivity); greener, low-carbon and resilient; more connected through enhanced mobility; more social (employment, education, skills, social inclusion, healthcare, culture, sustainable tourism); and closer to citizens (locally-led development, sustainable urban development). It is delivered under shared management, with local authorities issuing calls for projects adapted to their specific needs.
Requisitos
ERDF operates under shared management; applications must be submitted through national or regional Managing Authorities responsible for the relevant operational programme. Eligible applicants are public and private bodies in EU regions. Each call has specific eligibility criteria defined at regional/national level.
